How to place a bet?

Want to start your betting journey? We know how.

To place a bet:

  1. Find the event and market you want to bet on.
  2. Click the odds of the outcome of your choice. If you want to place the Combo or System bet, click the odds of several events.
  3. If you've selected several outcomes, choose the required type of bet: Combo or System.
  4. On BET SLIP in the right-side menu, enter a stake amount.
  5. For the System bet, select the system type.
  6. Click the Place Bet button.

Once your bet has been placed, it will appear on the MY BETS tab.

What is a bet slip?

BET SLIP is the feature you use to place a bet. You can find it in the right-side menu of the website. On BET SLIP, you can also see your estimated winnings and check the details of your bets before actually placing them.

Note that having a bet on BET SLIP doesn't automatically place your bet. You will need to click the Place Bet button after making your selections.

What types of bets can I place?

We support 3 different bet types:

  • Single bet
  • Combo bet
  • System bet

Single bet is a bet in which you are betting on a single outcome of an event. Please note that you will have to place an individual stake for every single bet.

Combo bet is a bet in which you are betting on two events and more. All bets added to BET SLIP are combined, and their odds are multiplied, giving a total odds value. Please note you need more than one selection in your bet slip to place the Combo bet. All you need to do is select the odds, enter a stake, and submit the wager.

System bet is an advanced version of the Combo bet where not all selections have to be successful for bets to be winning ones. For example, when you play a 3/5 system bet, only three selections need to be successful for you to win some money.

What types of odds can I use?

Depending on your region, your preferred odds format may be different. Sportsbook supports 6 different odds types:

  • European
  • British
  • Hong Kong
  • American
  • Indonesian
  • Malay

All calculations in the system are carried out in decimal odds. Different types of odds are used for viewing convenience only.

Odds types

European

European odds - decimal odds that represent the winning amount for each 1 unit wagered.

For example, if you place a 1,000 NGN bet on decimal odds of 2.2, you can multiply 1,000 NGN x 2.2 and get 2,200 NGN. In this case, the net profit would be 1,200 NGN on a 1,000 NGN stake.

Suppose the decimal odds per bet are 1.7. In this case, you can multiply 1000 NGN x 1.7 and get 1,700 NGN. In this example, you’re betting more to win less. If the wager wins, you’re looking at 700 NGN in profits, plus your stake back.

British

British odds - represented as fractions (6/4, 2/1, 1/3, and so on) and indicate the net payout earned relative to the amount staked. When the first number is larger than the second number, the potential profit will be larger than the amount staked.

A 1,000 NGN wager on a 4/1 fractional betting market would give you a profit of 4,000 NGN and the return of the original stake of 1,000 NGN.

When odds are 1/4, and the 1,000 NGN wager wins, it would only net us 2,500 NGN in profits, plus the original stake.

Hong Kong

Hong Kong odds - like fractional format, except they’re expressed in decimals. The only difference is that they inform you of the profit you can expect. The bigger the number in Hong Kong odds, the more you will win.

For example, if you placed a 1,000 NGN bet on odds of 0.35, you can multiply 1,000 NGN x 0.35 and get 350 NGN. If the wager wins, you’re looking at 350 NGN in profits plus the 1,000 NGN stake.

American

American odds - based on displaying favorites and underdogs using + and – symbols. If the odds are positive, the odds show how much a $100 (~80,000 NGN) bet would win if placed. If the odds are negative, it shows the amount that you need to wager to win $100.

Then, for example, you want to bet on +170. If this bet wins, you will have $170 and the $100 stake back.

For instance, you want to bet on odds of -150. You would need to wager $150 to win $100. If you win the bet, the net profit would be $100, and the $150 stake back.

Indonesian

Indonesian odds - like American odds. When negative, they show how much you need to wager to win 1 unit, and when positive, they show the profit from a wager of 1. However, they are displayed with a decimal point.

A -1.20 bet in Indonesian odds would mean that you must wager $120 to win $100 (~80,000 NGN).

Indonesian odds of 2.00 (or +2.00) mean you’ll win $200 for every $100 wagered, plus your stake back.

Malay

Malay odds - odds in decimal format, where positive numbers show how much you would win for every 1 unit wagered. Negative odds show how much you’d have to bet for a profit of 1.

For example, if the odds are +0.5 and you bet 1,000 NGN, then your potential profit is 1,000 NGN x 0.5 = 500 NGN plus your 1,000 NGN back. With positive odds, you will always win less than your wager.

On the other hand, when you wager 1,000 NGN at -0.5, you will make a net profit of 1,000 NGN. The total payout is 2,000 NGN. To get here, first, remove the minus (-) sign and then divide the wager by the odds: 1,000 NGN/0.5=2,000 NGN.
